Reports

To help educators and trainers identify strengths and weaknesses in their instruction, HVAC Excellence proctors can access a variety of reports.

These reports provide instructors with student test scores, areas of strength and weakness, a breakdown of the competencies covered in the examination, and statistical data to validate if any identified deficiencies track to a specific student, group of students or a curriculum specific content area. These reports aid the program in documentation for Perkins compliance.

In the sample below, an instructor gave their students the Employment Ready Electrical exam. The report quickly identifies “Electrical Troubleshooting” as a weakness. Using this information, the instructor can access other reports available to see if the deficiency is with a specific student, group of students or a weakness in the curriculum that needs to be addressed.

Student/Teacher Comparison

Although the questions on each of our exams are different, offering progressive levels of certification on the same competencies allows educators to compare their performance to that of their students.

If an educator scores well while students do not, it signals a need to improve how the material is being delivered. Conversely, if students outperform the instructor, or if the instructor scores poorly, it indicates that the educator may still need to master the content themselves.
