Types of Accreditation

Programmatic accreditation is a rigorous, independent, non-governmental review of individual educational programs. It verifies that a program meets or exceeds established standards of excellence, ensuring students receive the training they need for success in the HVACR workforce. Unlike institutional accreditation, which assesses an entire institution, including governance, administration, and finances, programmatic accreditation focuses solely on the quality and integrity of specific technical programs.
