Charles Degan

Charles Degan is a chemical engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Biological Engineering, both from Washington State University. Charles joined PNNL in 2016, working in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy office programs. As part of that work, he conducted research on utility incentives for heat pumps and heat pump water heaters. His current work is focused on building energy efficiency research on residential buildings including development and maintenance of heat pump training materials for the Building Science Education Solution Center (bsesc.energy.gov).
